Changes for medical marijuana patients

Health Canada says licensed medical marijuana producers are now allowed to produce and sell cannabis oil and fresh bud, following a Supreme Court decision allowing patients the right to use pot derivatives.    Tilray, BC’s largest producer , is eager to take advantage of the change.

CEO Greg Engel says they’ve already been looking at installing the equipment required to extract cannabis oil, and package it according to Health Canada’s requirements .
