A little slice of India is coming to Powell River. The Max Cameron Theatre is hosting a Bollywood Love Story, and Amanda Zaikow (zay-co) is one of the performers. She says the teacher and creator of this evening of Indian theatre ( Vidushi Mittra-Melrose) is the inspiration for the event.
Zaikow says the doors are open at 6 30 and the show starts at 7 pm on Saturday. She adds during the intermission there will be opportunities to learn sari and turban tying, get a henna tattoo and to sample traditional Indian food.
