The Chair of the Powell River Regional District is looking forward to the year ahead.
Patrick Brabazon was re-elected as chair of the board at its meeting last week.
He says there are several priorities for the board in the coming year, with the top one being improving communication with the public.
Brabazon says a parkland acquisition strategy is also on the agenda for this year, a recruitment and retention strategy for rural fire departments, and working more closely with the Tla’amin First Nation.
