Powell River is at the forefront of the Telus fibre optic installation in BC.
The concept of having the same quality of access to the internet as any area in the continent has many locals looking at their international options from their Powell River palaces.
Telus intends to have the first fibre optic subscriber area all systems go in early April with completion of installation by August.
