Years and years of fundraising and research…are we any closer ?? It has been 35 years since Terry Fox embarked on his journey across Canada to raise money for cancer. And now his Marathon Of Hope is celebrated all over the world and has raised millions of dollars. The event is this Sunday September 20 th , and spokesperson and organizer Ted Rodonets says – YES…indeed yes we are closer!!
Participants can register on–line before the event, or show up Sunday at 8 30 am behind the Powell River Rec Complex at the rear entrance where the blue tent is.
