Unless a deal can be struck, today will be the last day of school for Powell River Students.
BC Teacher’s Federation President Jim Iker says teachers have served notice and are prepared to launch full scale strike action on Tuesday, with Monday designated a “Study Day”, this means schools are closed then too.
Powell River and the Comox Valley will be among others getting hit with rotating strikes tomorrow. Â Campbell River was hit today.
