LITTLE RIVER, B.C- High winds have cancelled the ferry between Comox and Powell River again today.

According to a service notice from BC Ferries, the Salish Raven has had the 3:25 sailing departing Little River and the 5:15 sailing departing Powell River cancelled, due to the weather.

“The safety of our passengers and crew is of primary importance to us,” read the notice from the ferry service.

“We don’t take the decision to cancel sailings lightly, as we know customers rely on us to get to their destinations. We will resume service as soon as it is safe to do so. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience experienced as a result of this cancellation.”
