Good news for ferry users.
The Queen of Burnaby will be returning to the Powell River – Comox route this week.
The vessel was pulled from service to go into dry dock for some repairs. BC Ferries Spokesperson Deborah Marshall says the vessel will be back in service Wednesday.
Marshall says this means the MV Island Sky can go back to its normal run serving the Earls Cove-Saltery Bay run and the North Island Princess can go back to serving the Texada run.
Marshall says BC Ferries appreciates the patience of customers while the modified service was in place.
