RCMP investigating vandalism to a vehicle

The Powell River RCMP have released their crime blog of the week. The following story and statistics have been culled from the blog.

Vandalism to Vehicle:

Powell River RCMP received a report of vandalism to a vehicle on Savary Island, which occurred sometime during the evening of January 19th, 2016.

A Savary Island Resident reported that someone had vandalized their vehicle while it was parked on Malaspina Promenade near the dock on Savary Island.

The vehicle, a 2002 Maroon GMC Tracker had “slow down” written on the driver’s side window, and all the tires had been flattened with the valve stems damaged.

Anyone with further information on this incident is asked to contact the Powell River RCMP or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).  Callers to CrimeStoppers will remain anonymous.
