Residents are being advised to use caution around area rivers over the next few days.
The BC River Forecasting Centre’s spokesperson Toby Gardener says the flows dropped quickly once the weather cleared, but you should still be cautious around the rivers for the next few days. He says high flows can cause bank erosion.
Gardener says it’s a good idea to stay away from river banks after big rain events, and to be extra cautious if you do plan on going near area rivers.
