The City of Powell River has launched a new survey asking about regional recreation.
Director of Parks, Recreation, and Culture Ray Boogaards says the city, the regional district, and the Sliammon First Nation are thinking about approaching recreation regionally.
He says they want to find out if there’s an interest in all the groups working together looking at one recreational service for the Powell River region and surrounding area.
The survey is available at kiosks throughout the community, at the rec complex, and online on the city’s website. The deadline for feedback is the middle of March.
