The MLA for the North Island is calling on the government to not implement paid parking at the new Campbell River Hospital.
New Democrat Claire Trevena has again written to the Minister of Health calling for a rethink on plans for paid parking.
Trevena says it’s unfair, and people across the North Island traditionally have never paid for parking.
Trevena adds a hospital is an important community resource, and it should serve the community fully.
