Powell River Fire Department hosted the Orca Bus this morning. It was a team-up between the Department and Success By Six – offering kids the chance to learn more about the fire department.
Spokesperson Trish Greenwood says it’s a great opportunity for kids in the community and that the department is highly interested in the health and education of youth in the region.
The Orca bus provides outreach for the Strong Start Program and provides outreach programming and learning opportunities for kids 6 and under.
