Fines increased for wildfires

The Province has increased the fines for behaviour that increases the risks of wildfires.

Forests Minister Steve Thomson says 30 to 40 per cent of wildfires each year are human-caused.

Thomson notes that the 2015 fire season was one of the busiest and most expensive in recent years.
