Driving distracted is one of the leading causes of fatal vehicle collisions.
Students at Brooks Secondary were taught that lesson when a distracted driving simulator end educational seminar was brought to the school grounds.
Career educator at the school – Jim Palm – says the turnout was great and the take away is that distracted driving is a losing situation.
Palm says students were able to see first-hand how distracted driving can get you in trouble on the road.
