A spokesperson for the Powell River Emergency Program says he hopes this week’s earthquake event provided useful information for residents.
The Shake Zone earthquake simulator made a stop in town on Monday and allowed people to experience what an 8.0 magnitude quake feels like.
Ryan Thoms says they made sure to have lots of resources available for people to get more information.
Thoms says you can find information about setting up emergency kits on the Powell River Emergency Program website or through Prepare BC.
