Police are looking for the culprit behind the theft of fuel from a cabin owner.
RCMP Staff Sergeant Rod Wiebe says Mounties recently received a report from a cabin owner about a theft. He notes that fuel was stolen, and the incident is a good reminder to residents to keep their cabins secured and locked when they are not on site.
He notes it’s also important to not keep anything too valuable on scene.
Anyone with any information on the case is asked to contact the Powell River RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
