The Powell River RCMP is looking into a theft at the hospital.
Staff Sergeant Rod Wiebe says an important piece of equipment was taken from the Powell River General Hospital. He says a unique piece of equipment valued at over $6000 was stolen.
Wiebe says police are also looking into two cases of individuals siphoning gas from vehicles at Mowatt Bay. Police believe other vehicles have been targeted.
RCMP are also investigating two incidents on Harvie Avenue. Wiebe says two windows on two separate houses had been broken and it appears that they had been shot with a pellet gun.
Wiebe asks anyone with further information to contact the Powell River RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
