Residents can expect traffic delays in Powell River, through the qathet Regional District’s work on a local project.
The project is for the building of a new resource recovery center on Marine Avenue, with the plan currently in Stage 3.
Due to road crews working on the center’s access road entrance, travel through the Cut hair salon will have single-lane alternating traffic in effect.
According to the city on social media, traffic controls are expected to continue throughout this week and next week.
