The City of Powell River is looking at a pilot project for yard waste and organics collection.
Director of Infrastructure Tor Birtig says the regional district made a request last year for the city to consider a trial curbside organics collection program.
Birtig says, if approved, the pilot project would begin in January and run for six to 12 months.
