Parking on a section of Maple Street might be a bit tricky while construction is underway.
The City of Powell River says crews will be fixing the water main on the street starting on Tuesday, with it potentially getting completed on May 3.
Construction will happen between Aspen Avenue and Birch Street, primarily on the boulevard on the east side.
The city says street parking will be unavailable in the area of construction, and traffic will be single lane alternating.
Brief disruptions in water services will come to residents in the area, and they say staff will tell you if you are one of the homes that will be affected.
