A New LNG Facility Could Break Ground in Campbell River in 2017

WEBSITEIf all goes according to plan shovels could break ground on a new Liquified Natural Gas facility in Campbell River in 2017.

Quicksilver Canada want to build that facility at the old Elk Falls Mill Site.

Senior vice president and operating officer David Rushford says they have just applied for an export license with the National Energy Board.

Rushford says if they get that license it  would be the go ahead needed to redevelop the old mill site with the intention to ship L-N-G to Asia.
