Safety in Pools and Lakes is Top of Mind this Summer

A reminder to beat the heat safely from the Life-Saving Society of BC, as residents look to cool off in area lakes, oceans and swimming pools.

Executive Director Dale Miller says, for backyard swimming pools, make sure an adult is supervising..

He says, most importantly, wear a life jacket!  And, he says most tips are just common sense… like not drinking alcohol before you go for a dip.
