Though there’s no date set for a federal election yet… the Federal Liberal Party have announced their new candidate for the North Island Powell River riding.
First time politician Peter Schwarzhoff (Swars-off)…. he explains what motivated him to get involved.
He says two of his big priorities are jobs and the economy… and the environment.
Schwarzhoff is a retired scientist who worked at Environment Canada doing environmental assessments.
