An update now on that large wild fire that has been burning on the North Island near Nimkish Lake for over three weeks…
Fire information 
officer Donna McPherson says the fire is now about 160 hectares which is about the size of 320 football fields.
She now the fire is about 60 percent contained and fire crews will continue fighting to keep it contained… but says parts of the fire will likely burn until the fall.
