The MLA for Powell River – Sunshine Coast says he is hopeful that the feedback received by Vancouver Coastal Health leads to improvements in local long-term care facilities.
VCH held its open board meeting in Powell River this week.
Nic Simons says he was encouraged to see so many people come out to the meeting to express concerns about the food being served at local facilities.
Simons says while he was pleased to see the acknowledgement that there needs to be improvements, he hopes that is followed up with actions to make things better.
