The Sunshine Coast RCMP is hoping someone can help provide information after a hit-and-run in Sechelt.
Constable Harrison Mohr says the incident happened near Wakefield Road around 9:00 PM at night last Thursday and a cyclist was ‘seriously’ injured.
Mohr says a passing motorist noticed the victim on the shoulder of the road and alerted police and paramedics, who made their way to the scene.
Mohr says the 49-year-old was sent to Sechelt Hospital before being airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
