A 27-unit affordable housing complex is coming to Powell River.
Inclusion Powell River will be the operator of the facility. Executive Director Lilla Tipton says a shortage of affordable housing has been identified as a growing need in the community.
Tipton says they are currently in discussions with the city to determine where the project will be built.
Tipton says they are hoping to start construction next summer.
