An elderly Cortes Island man has died after he accidentally drove his car into the ocean Saturday 
night.
RCMP corporal Darren Lagan says the man drove into the water from Whaletown Road.
Lagan says the RCMP and the coroner s service are investigating the incident.
He says speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash… they are thinking this might be an accident or caused by driver error.
