The Walk for Truth is coming to Powell River this weekend, for the 3rd year!
The walk is to raise awareness of Asbestos, says Co-founder Tracy Ford…
Ford says they aim to raise awareness both for those attending the walk, and those driving by. They will be carrying signs as they walk along Marine Avenue to Alexander and then back to Willingdon Beach.
Sign in starts on Saturday at 1:30 at Willingdon and the walk begins at 3pm, with a vegetarian friendly BBQ to follow.
