A double vandalism and theft from 2 vehicles is a file the Powell River RCMP are working on. According to Sargent Kevin Day two vehicles were parked at a business overnight when they were broken into.
Day says one notable item is a 6 foot long red Blisstec kayak, along with several camping accessories such as knives, camping gear, a sleeping bag as well as a laptop. Day reminds any one with information on this or any other crime to call the Powell River Detachment , or call Crimestoppers at 1800 222 TIPS (8477)
