Electric Vehicles are coming!

With electric vehicles becoming more and more popular, Powell River is about to join the growing list of cities to install charging stations.

This, from a recent meeting at City Hall.  Mayor Dave Formosa says the city will start with two electric vehicle charging stations, but says this is only phase one of a multi-step electric vehicle plan…

Installing these, Mayor Formosa hopes, will help bring tourists to the city, who otherwise would have nowhere to charge their cars.
