Gas drill and trimmer stolen from Duncan Street property

POWELL RIVER, B.C. – The Powell River RCMP is looking into a break and enter on Duncan Street.

The incident was reported on October 15. A break-in reportedly occurred at a commercial property on the 7100 block of the street. Someone had entered into a sea can storage container.

Stolen items include five various concrete saws, a gas drill and a gas trimmer.

Constable Ron Palmquist said the crime is believed to have happened sometime between October 13th and 15th, 2018.

In another case, mischief was reported on October 16th. Someone had cut the wires to a lamp standard at Empress Way and Tanner Avenue, possibly attempting to steal the copper wire, according to Palmquist.

The mischief is believe to have occurred overnight.
