The countdown is on …and Powell River Idol is looking for you!! Organizer Renelle Wikene is excited about this years event, and she reflects on how she got involved
Wikene says there are open auditions for this youth contest at Oceanveiw School this Saturday between 1 and 3 pm. Those who audition must be between the age of 13 to 19, and will get to sing their own choice of tune a cappella in front of a panel of judges. The actual Powell River Idol event is planned for the Evergreen Theatre for January 30 th in the new year.
