RCMP investigating theft of vehicle from Massullo Motors

POWELL RIVER, B.C. – Police in Powell River are looking into the theft of a vehicle from Massullo Motors.

Constable Chris Bakker said the vehicle was stolen from the dealership at around 5:15 a.m. on December 3rd. Bakker said it was taken from the parking lot with its dealer license plates still on.

Fortunately, the vehicle was found a short time later in a different part of town. The matter is still under investigation, according to Bakker’s report.

COMMUNITY CENTRE THEFT

Bakker said that on November 30th, police responded to a theft at the Arc Community Event Centre on Alberni Street.

Items were stolen from two of the three large donation bins at the facility. Bakker said the theft occurred some time over the previous night.
