Halloween is just a few days away, and some are putting the final touches on their costumes.
Now as fun as trick-or-treating can be, it’s important to remember to be safe and take caution out on the streets when kids are collecting their candy.
RCMP Constable Don Sinclair has a few tips for trick-or-treaters to remain visible during Saturday night’s festivities.
Sinclair says it’s also smart for parents to have a plan for the night of trick-or-treating. He adds to not approach any animals, because they can get scared easily by kids’ costumes.
Sinclair also warns drivers to take their time and watch out for kids on the road.
