Province and Nurse’s Union Partner to Add Positions

The province and the BC Nurses Union are partnering to add nursing positions in communities across BC.

Health Minister Terry Lake says nurses will be key as the health care system faces increasing pressure from a growing and aging population.

The goal is to create over 1600 additional regular nursing positions in B.C. by March 31.
