The Powell River Diversity Initiative is conducting a survey on social development issues in our community.
Spokesperson John Young says it’s part of the Tapping the Groundswell project.
He says there are limited resources and challenges, so the community feedback will help them improve going forward, and establish what issues are important to Powell Riverites.
Young says child poverty and housing are issues they’ve already established as needing attention in Powell River. The feedback will be compiled with research and reported back to council.
