The Friends of the Library is working towards its goal of raising $100,000.
A Hot Soup Social is taking place at Fruits and Roots Juice Bar this evening.
Spokesperson Gary Shilling says it’s been amazing to see the support from the community for the library. He says it was more than 75% of the community that agreed this was a good thing to do.
Shilling says the group is hoping to hit its goal by the time the new library opens later this year.
