The Powell River Brain Injury Society is taking part in the Loonie Wars this week.
The event is a friendly competition between head injury societies in the region to see which can collect the most loonies through the week.
Society spokesperson Debbie Dee says organizations in Powell River, Campbell River, Comox Valley, and Victoria are taking part.
Dee says the Society will be set up at the mall throughout this week with their Walk a Mile in My Shoes campaign to accept donations.
