City staff is working on next steps for the Expanded Regional Recreation Initiative Study.
The public feedback survey wrapped up this week. City Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture, Ray Boogaards says the goal of the study is to look at improving all the recreation services throughout the Powell River region and surrounding area.
Boogaards says the feedback will be compiled into the recreation study. He notes there’s a lot of activity in the area and bringing all information together will lead to the best services possible.
The survey results will be compiled together and presented to local governments in the region.
