Police are looking for further information into a collision that took the life of a CFB Comox Firefighter.
Corporal Christopher Stacey was pronounced deceased at the scene on Little River Road after police responded early Saturday morning.
Acting Wing Commander Captain Helen Neilson says Stacey was a beloved member of the community.
Neilson adds that Stacey was a decorated member of the force.
Early reports indicate speed may have been a factor in the single-vehicle collision. Anyone with further information is asked to contact the RCMP.
