Paid parking is in the works for North Island College’s Comox Valley campus.
President John Bowman says with the opening of the Comox Valley Hospital, free parking may become a thing of the past at NIC.
He says they’re looking at implementing paid parking in July.
Bowman says their goal is to ensure parking is affordable for students with a variety of options of passes that will meet students’ needs.
Bowman presented the school’s 5-year strategic plan to Courtenay and Comox councils this week.
