Powell River RCMP say a theft from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Manson Avenue took place Saturday night.
RCMP responded to a call about the theft Sunday at around 10:50 am.
A yellow Dewalt 12-inch mitre saw worth nearly $500 was stolen from the back of a pickup truck.
Anyone with related information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
