The city of Powell River is inviting residents down to check out Millennium Park.
City Manager of Recreation, Neil Pukesh, says the are holding an event tomorrow to celebrate the hard work that has gone into improving the park.
He says there’s going to be a lot of information about the work they’ve done, the vegetation in the park and all the activities available at the park.
Pukesh says the multi-use trails are accessible for various user groups and he hopes this event encourages more people to check out what Millennium Park has to offer.
