Mounties and ICBC are enforcing safe driving this summer.
ICBC spokesperson Caroline Robinson says 46-percent of impaired driving related deaths occur between June and September.
Robinson says if your summer activities involve alcohol, you can use transit services, stay in a hotel or arrange for a designated driver to get home safe. She implores people to enjoy their festivities safely.
Robinson says RCMP will be ramping up enforcement to catch impaired drivers as well as impaired boaters throughout the summer.
