RCMP investigating theft and break-and-enter

The Powell River RCMP is investigating a theft at a local business. Sergeant Kevin Day says the incident happened at the Rona on Joyce Avenue.

Day says the suspect is described as a 5-foot-8 Caucasian male who was seen wearing a black hat and carrying a black backpack as he ran out of the store after stealing a Dewalt 20-volt drill.

Day says Mounties are also looking into an incident at a local resort. He says a break-and-enter occurred at the fuel dock at the Beach Gardens Resort.
