A whole weekend of live jazz music and dancing in Powell River is now underway, and there’s still time to get tickets.
Multiple concerts and performances are happening around town today. The first is a lunchtime performance by locals Walter Martella and Paul Carriere at the Shinglemill Pub and Bistro.
There are three more concerts around town tonight, including the Cory Weeds Quartet with guest Brian Charette from New York City at the Max Cameron Theatre.
A gala featuring Wunderbread is happening Saturday night, promising live, retro disco music with a six-piece band, and a night of dancing. The Ken Lister Trio will close out the weekend with an evening concert on Lasqueti Island.
