A Series of Small Earthquakes Continue to Shake Up the Coast
A few recent small earthquakes hundred of kilometers off the shores of the North Island are a reminder we live in an earthquake zone.
The latest was about 200 kilometers off the coast of Port Hardy.
Doctor Honn Kao (Cow) from the geological survey of Canada says these small quakes are pretty normal.
He reminds everyone they should make sure they are prepared should a bigger quake hit the area.
