Heavy rains hitting the region
Residents on the Sunshine Coast are being advised of some rainfall over the next few days.
Meteorologist Alyssa Charbonneau with Environment Canada says the heaviest rains are expected to come tonight and Tuesday. She notes they’re expecting about 60 millimetres of rain in the region through Monday night.
Charbonneau says over on Vancouver Island, there will likely be 30 millimetres to more than 100 across the region, with the heaviest rains concentrated on the Northern and Western parts of the region.
